Kigali laced up and moved together to raise awareness for epilepsy on Purple Day 2025.

Before the 5km run in 2026, there was this. On Purple Day 2025, BEA took to the streets of Kigali with runners and walkers who came out to show solidarity with the epilepsy community. It was a proof of concept. It showed us that people will show up when you invite them to. That energy carried straight into everything we planned next.
